Weekend Fabulous-ness!!!

We had a great weekend!
Saturday (after Paul worked for a bit) we headed to the outlets to get some deals....and then to a surprise party for our neighbor that evening at a winebar (some grown-up time)
Sunday, after breakfast, we headed as a family to the park where we played for 2 hours.....
Holy cow, what a workout playing tag with Ella on the climbing stuff....
It was lots of fun!

Then we headed to the Dunns for a quick dinner ......
Logan had worked up quite the appetite as you can tell.....
see below as he tries to eat a banana in one bite!
yum!
And then, mr.blue eyes devours his dessert, an ice cream sandwich!!!
Wish the weekend was longer! We really enjoyed our week our spring break and the weekend...

Sandy Land......

I am pretty sure that you will always be able to find sand in my house after this week, but I really don't care at all!!!!
We have enjoyed the weather and spent LOTS of hours at the park this week.
Thanks to Nannie and Muntz the kids were able to pick a treat out at the store and got lots of sand toys so we headed back to the park this morning to try them all out!

Logan is growing like a weed .......I can't believe how big he is!
The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the perfect shady spot!

Such a little boy.....check out his sandy pants......
Ella loved to dump water on the sand to make 'mud hands' and 'mud balls'
Logan enjoyed dumping the bucket of sand all over himself

Owen joined us (with his mommy and brother) at the park!

The kids had a great time playing together and actually stayed in one spot for quite a while....and then it was time to run around.....
Logan is becoming quite the brave guy at the park and has no problem climbing up the steps
And peeking out.....
Then heading down the slide next to mommy......

What a great week we have had and are looking forward to the weekend!!!!

Quite the artist......

Ella LOVES to draw.........

She is becoming quite good and amazes me sometimes at the details in her work......

Thought I would share a drawing from today!

Lucky......in green!

Happy St.Patrick's Day!!!
Ella and I had some girls time last night and painted our nails green......and of course she had her shamrock bows in!

And little Mr.Logan looked adorable in his cute festive shirt and a pair of green shorts.....

I am one lucky mommy.......I love these 2 kids!

What a difference a week makes.......

This was the view from the road turning into our house
ONE WEEK AGO!!!!
Snow capped mountains......
We stayed bundled inside our house......
Below you will see a photo of the 'Barron curse'........
it has effected Paul, Ella, and now Logan
(this is what happens......the tv is turned on, doesn't matter what show is on, and they lose all sense of hearing, etc......the only focus is the tv)
He does look adorable in his new chair....thanks grams and papa
And now........one week later, we have all SUNSHINE and warmth!!!!
We have spent the last 3 days at the park enjoying every moment of it!
Logan and Ella LOVE the trek to the park in the bike trailer......
Logan has discovered the joy of sand and was quite a mess today......he also loves to slide with mommy
Ella makes new friends with everyone she comes in contact with and is the social director of the park! She has become quite the climber and conquers everything on the playground!
After the afternoon naps, we head back outside for Ella to ride her scooter and Logan enjoys being pulled around in the wagon......
below are some pics of our playtime outside.....
Logan is always happy as long as he has a snack in hand!

This is my favorite pic of Logan below.....

I can't believe it was 85 degrees today......just crazy!

It's a good thing I stocked up on sunscreen a few weeks back, we used alot this week!

The Cutest Newest American Idol Judge (no, not talking about Ellen)

Introducing.........Judge Ella
The sweetest, cutest, most adorable judge that I love to cuddle with on the couch while we watch 'Idol'.....

"Hey Mommy, what do you think of that girl?????"
And before I could respond, she continued with,
"I really like her Mommy........Look at her eyelashes and her sparkly-ness"
Ella is just fantastic! She fills MY life with 'sparkly-ness'

Ella's 2nd GOAL and the ending of the Cupcakes Season

Ella's 1st soccer season officially came to an end this past Saturday!
It was great to see all of the improvement from all the players.....good job Coach Daddy!
Ella was actually EXCITED for the games and not PETRIFIED that the BIG girls were gonna take the ball from her!
I hope she has this confidence when next season starts!

So cute.....I love the candid shots!
I actually bribed (yes, sometimes it is necessary) Ella again for this game.....
if she scored another goal, she would be able to get the Alice in Wonderland doll that she has been wanting..... Her immediate response to the bribe was, "what if I don't score?"..... I told her not to worry about that because I knew she would.
Towards the end of the 2nd half of the 2nd game with just a few minutes left, our sweet little girl got the ball and as soon as she knew she could do it, she sent it flying into the net!
I was trying to catch it on video, but got so excited that I ended up filming the sky...... I will go through and edit the video from her last games and post it soon.
So proud of her! I love seeing her gain confidence! She is a great little soccer player and is going to score alot more goals in her lifetime!

Group shot of the team ......
The girls after they received their medals......cute!
You can see the EXTREME height difference as you look to Ella's right......
some teams had players that were all this tall.

Our proud little champion!!!
Such a cute photo of Ella and Coach Daddy!
Logan and I had to wear yellow to show our support of the Cupcakes!
We left the field and headed to the mall where she claimed her victory reward!
Alice hasn't left her side since!
