Snow Much Fun!

ROADTRIP!!!!!!
Guess where Elfie was found was a sign of our upcoming adventure!
My friend Jen had the opportunity to review a great new North Pole Experience in Greer, AZ for her blog and luckily the cabin was big enough for Ella and I to tag along!!!! Upon getting there, we found that about 12 other people could have tagged along as well......the cabin was huge! We can't say thank you enough for allowing us to be a part of this fantastic trip!
It was all of the kids 1st time seeing snow and they were excited to say the least!

Ella sees snow out the window for the 1st time! In the gingerbread forest.....can u see the gingerbread man out there?

This was our only SCARY part of the trip........where'd the road go?
Upon safe arrival to our cabin, the little snow bunny made her appearance!
Snow cute!
The cabin was beautiful!
Even had a t.v. with satellite......see the husbands could have joined us :0)

The kids loved the upstairs.......
"mommy, look at all the snow!"

We quickly got the kids bundled and headed out to the winter wonderland.
Ella couldn't wait to make a snow angel
This is her 1st one EVER!
Pretty good!

The kids loved the snow and there was NO complaining about being cold
Trying to catch some snowflakes
Group effort!
Making snowballs.....
And throwing them!
Action shot
Me and my Ella
Jen with Brooke and Bradley
The spectacular snowman........
They are NOT easy to make, at all!
Was a cute little snowman
The kids were proud of their accomplishment
After changing clothes and reading some books with Nonna......the kids could always be found looking out the window and watching the snow.......too cute!
Soon after, we headed out to the real adventure.......the kids were invited to be amongst the first EVER allowed in Santa's workshop. Santa is running behind this year and his elves needed some help making toys......

Preschool Christmas Program

Ella has been SO excited for her BIG performance at school!
We have been practicing the songs for over a week and she learned ALL the words (so did I)
Today was finally the day!
Logan wandered around until the show started.......he put on his own show
So cute as the kids all walked in.....Ella was searching the crowd for us
I never 'see' her biting her nails but I know she started because they are always short....
guess it has to do with nerves because here is my 'proof'
Ella did a great job remembering the words, movements, and singing out loud!
Thank goodness she wasn't picking her nose or crying like some others!
Afterwards we joined her 'best friend' Meredith and her family at Chick-fila for dinner.
So glad that Ella has such sweet friends.....it was lots of fun!

Santa Party.....Ho Ho Ho

This past Saturday, we headed to the McGlassons for the fabulous Santa party!

Ella was super excited because she knew who the special visitor was going to be, that was until I heard her say that it could be a princess because sometimes princesses visit when we go to their house!

Ella was ready and excited to sit on Santa's lap!

She asked for Leapster games.

And then gave Santa a BIG HUG!

Logan wasn't quite sure what was happening!

And wasn't such a happy camper!

The kids all waited patiently until everyone had their turn and then they all opened their special presents from Santa......

Logan LOVED his palm pilot

And Ella got just what she had been wishing for....

Molly Moose.....made especially for her by Santa at Build a Bear

Logan was too busy playing to look at the camera

So many fabulous treats!

A couple quick pics of the fam!

And some more playing......

Logan got in on the treats and enjoyed a brownie

Soon it was jammie time! Ella was so excited they had matching jammies and hers were PINK and Logan's were green!

What is more fun than 4 cute kids in jammies!

And of course, the night wouldn't have been complete without a game of hide and seek!

Thanks McGlassons for another FUN party!!!!!

Mr.Handsome Gets a Haircut!

It was time........the mullet was a comin' fast!
Off to Cool Cuts for Kids for a friendly environment for the little guy.
As you can see below, it didn't get off to a good start.......
He was NOT a fan of getting into the car chair.
Then I just got 'the look'

And then the 'cutting' started and he was 'fine'
He held still and did great!
Even drooled on the cape....
Sometimes he watched 'Wubbzy'
Sometimes he had to look around and check out the other 'clients'
Logan really did such a good job!
He liked looking at his handsome self in the mirror
But, I just couldn't get a smile out of him!
......maybe next time
A funny story about when we were there.....of course, it involves Ella.
She was sure to tell the lady, in quite a loud voice, how she gets her hair cut at 'Sweet & Sassy' and how it is SO fun there and she LOVES it! Oops...... I just had to laugh.

A Great Doctor

Logan had his follow-up this past Monday and everything is healing great.
He will have a repeat test in about 2 to 3 months to make sure that everything is 'fixed' on the inside.
I just feel so lucky that I get to work with alot of different doctors and am able to pick only the 'best' for my kids. (even if it means about a million phone calls to the insurance company)
Dr.Berkman is fantastic!
It is NOT easy to find out that something is wrong with your baby, but it was made easier knowing that Logan was in great hands and that his doctor did 'care' about what happened to him.
We always knew that if we ever had a question or if there was ever any concerns, we could call him anytime.
He definitely was right there with us 'hoping' that Logan would outgrow his 'issue' and avoid surgery and when that didn't happen, we could tell how bad he felt having to tell us what was next.
We knew he was doing what was best for Logan and that made our decision easy.
The hardest moment for me was walking out of the OR and leaving Logan.......when I walked out with big tears in my eyes, Dr Berkman walked over to me, gave me a hug, and walked me out to the waiting room where Paul was and told us, "He will do great."
I will never forget that he did that for me.

There are some bad doctors, some good doctors, and some GREAT doctors!
Logan was taken care of by the BEST!
Thanks Dr. Berkman!

My little matchers!

I have been on the lookout for some cute jammies for the kiddos and FINALLY find
some in the right sizes that match!
After baths tonight, they got snuggled into their new jammies!
So Cute!
Logan is really into books lately......he is already reading to Ella!

*A cute story from today*
"Mommy, I don't have a baby brother anymore.....I have a puppy!"
Logan is REALLY into animal sounds these days and is especially fond of 'barking'

He's Back

Elfie is back!
We started a great tradition last year with the 'Elf on a Shelf' set.
The set contains this cute little 'elf' which you name (Ella named ours) and a book.
Your 'elf' keeps watch during the day and then flies back and reports to Santa each night.....
naughty or nice?????
Ella's FAVORITE part is getting to find Elfie's new hiding spot each morning.
It really is cute!
