The day after Nannie and Muntz arrived, we packed up the mini-v and headed to the cooler weather in Pinetop. We enjoyed a nice dinner the first night and then when we awoke the next morning....Logan was back at the games with his buddy Muntz
Enjoying breakfast
Across the parking lot was a playground....the kids were ecstatic!
Muntz joined in the fun
Ella found this GIANT nest and luckily it was empty...not sure I want to know what creature it belonged to
Anyone for a game of horseshoes?
Logan off exploring with his best buddy...
Paul and I enjoyed playing raquetball each day....sometimes for over 2 hours. At one point during the week, I felt like I had been in a car accident....so sore. But, I played again the next day and luckily got over the pain. The kids loved trying out the new sport
Check this out....Ella was a bocce ball champion
And this little guy liked to hang.....quite the monkey
And this little monkey loved to swing...
Having a great time playing OUTSIDE!
Daddy and Logan making silly faces

Pretty flowers and a pretty girl!
The resort we stayed at had a great little 18 hole miniature golf course!
Logan getting a little help...
Ella even got a hole-in-one!
Fishing for the lost ball...
And then came to nice cool rain in the afternoon.....It was fabulous!
They were very excited to wear their boots!
It was a good thing we had LOTS of games to play!
Muntz and Logan.....great buddies!
And again together at breakfast...
And back to the playground...
There was an indoor pool which looked nice and warm, but was rather cold!!!
We had a great breakfast out one of the mornings and then headed to Woodland's Lake Park...
Me and my sweet Ella

Time to blow some bubbles...
Love those chubby cheeks!

Up on the bridge....me and my baby boy
Ella did Logan's hair....check out the amount of gel on this guy......slicked down in front and quite spikey in the back
We walked over to the stables next door....unfortunately, the little horse wasn't there that day so Ella couldn't ride so we just visited the horses
Looking out for horse poop
So, while we were walking around, this old grumpy guy who Logan called 'the farmer' came and yelled at us to not open the gate because the horses would get out....well, we had NOT touched the gate and as soon as the 'farmer' walked away, look what happened
Our home for a week...
We caught one of the daily kids movies...."Snow Buddies"...it was quite comfy in their theater
What a wonderful, relaxing, cool weathered week......hasn't been fun back in the heat!
