2 years ago TODAY.......

Two years ago TODAY, I spent the day with Ella and my mom....
We took Ella to get her FIRST haircut!!!
She was excited and a little nervous...
And just loved it....
Such a sweet little girl.....
She loved her new hair!
And was so happy to have Grammie spending the day with us.....
She was, after all, about to become a BIG SISTER and she had to look like a big girl!
Ella loved to feel her brother wiggle and kick.....
Ella already LOVED her brother....
I remember this day like it was yesterday.....
......and a great day it was

We headed over to the Engen's today for a fun and festive Halloween party for the kiddos!
Kellie completely outdid herself and had so many fun activities!
Ella and Logan had a GREAT time!

Logan decorated a pumpkin while keeping his mouth full of cheese puffs....
Logans idea of a 'party'...his own bowl of puffs.
The food was ADORABLE!!!! This cute little orange pumpkins......there were also ghost cinnamon and sugar chips, halloween tortilla chips, mummy hot dogs, halloween shaped mac and cheese, a spooky snake pizza.....etc....

Stormin'

What a storm we had today....
Rain, hail, thunder, lightning......
One of the 'medium' size pieces......
We stood outside and watched the crazy, angry clouds move at rocket speed across the sky to take over the sunny spots
Another 'medium' size piece. I ventured out in the storm to try and get a BIG one and got whacked on the knuckle among other places.....it hurt, so I settled for bringing this piece to Ella and ran back to the garage
Yikes! What a crazy day....sunshine to storm to sunshine to storm....
Loving the cooler temps and ready to go cuddle on the couch with my family!

Monday Night

You might be asking, what does PEZ have to do with a Monday night??????......well allow me to explain......

I had kickball playoffs last night.....

Paul had to coach at Grand Canyon......

Aunt Renee (nay nay) came over to watch the kids.......

Enough said?????

I came home at 9pm to Logan and Ella doing jumping jacks......Aunt Renee watching and laughing

Logan was absolutely CRAZY....it was hilarious......he was doing a sideways dance step and falling down.....he was feeling the full effects of the PEZ

Ella wasn't quite as crazy but was still going full speed......

It took me until nearly 10pm to get Logan to sleep....I think he was still trying to do jumping jacks in his crib....

Ella's sugar high came crashing down and she was fast asleep pretty quickly.....

Thanks Aunt Renee for watching the kiddos and doing what aunts do best......giving the kids too much sugar and then leaving :0)

And for those of you that may be wondering......my kickball team won (3-2) and we are in the semi-finals next week and GCU won also (3-0)

FOUR.... (soccer Saturday)

The goal was 5 again......give goals....
Ella scored 4......FOUR GOALS!
A little superstar on the soccer field....
So many of the players tower over her in size but she has them beat in confidence, nothing is stopping her this season.
It was SOOOOO incredibly hot at her 11:30pm game.....especially on the turf.
It was 102 degrees and probably 110 in the arena, so I was busy holding an umbrella up to try and keep Logan shaded, so the only photo I got was of this red cheeked little gal with nostrils flaring who is trying to cool down!

After naps for the kiddos, we headed out to a late night game to cheer on Grand Canyon!
Ella loves to watch 'the girls' play and of course do the cool down with them after the game.
They greeted Ella with lots of high fives since they had heard about her goal scoring. So cute! Although GCU lost, it was a good game and quite nerve wracking, so we couldn't leave early. It was a super late night for the kiddos and they both feel asleep in the car on the way home.
