The 'shoe' process was a bit difficult this year...Paul wanted Ella to have turf shoes, yet Ella still has 'toddler' sized feet.....But, we ended up finding these online and they are super cute!
Coach Paul approved :0)
The first practice was 'rained out' which caused much sadness among the Cupcakes, so the 2nd practice was a frantic effort to get them game ready!
Logan is quite the 'big boy' now....off on his own, playing with his friends and not asking constantly for 'snacks'...that in itself is quite amazing

Learning great control skills
Such a stinker!
Logan and Nolan.....best buddies
Logan and Bradley....best buddies doing their superhero pose!
Ready for the 1st game!
Sweetness!
It was HOT and the field was much bigger than they were used to!
Getting used to listening for the whistle and having a 'ref'
Ella taking her turn in goal....look at those fire red cheeks!
Ella didn't score a goal the first game, but she was super proud of the fact that she had played tough and tackled the 'big girl' (twice Ella's size) and gotten the ball away from her...
Coach Paul worked alot on fitness the 2nd practice, lots of sprints and running...
The second game was once again HOT (1:30pm)
Go Ella! Go Go Ella!!!
Ella scored her FIRST GOAL within the first couple minutes of the game!
Her smile was adorable (unfortunately I was enjoying the moment and didn't get a photo)
