FIVE!!!!!

Thinking back to last season, this little sweet gal was SO intimidated by games. She loved practice because she new her teammates but didn't appreciate these strange other girls trying to take the ball away each week at the games. Ella did score 2 goals last season....one goal in each of the last 2 games......It was GREAT!

She has been so excited to get this season of soccer underway and was ready to play!

When I asked her this morning how many goals she was going to score, she confidently said, "FIVE!"

She played AWESOME! She actually took the ball away from the other team, turned it around, and dribbled it across the whole field to SCORE!

I am SO HAPPY and PROUD to report that our little superstar did SCORE FIVE GOALS!!!!

After each goal, her smile grew!!!

What a difference a year makes......I love to see her CONFIDENCE and can't wait to see her play again next week!

My sweet 'Croup'-er.....

Fall is here and with it comes the annual event of 'croup'......

Ella awoke this morning barking and with stridor, so off to the doctor we went.

A dose of steroids later (and 2 more days worth) definitely made her feel better and she has really perked up this afternoon....

Here's hoping for a restful night with no 'distress' ......

Gotta be all better for the 1st soccer game of the season on Saturday morning

Logan DID it!!!!

Logan went potty in the BIG potty TODAY!!!!!

He was SO excited when he actually 'went' and it wasn't just another time that he sat on the potty with 'no' results.

SUCH a BIG smile!!!! He was SO proud of himself and we were too!

Here's hoping for an easy time potty training!

(not gonna really start for a couple months but at least he knows what to do)

Cupcakes 2010

This past Tuesday was the start of soccer season #2 for sweet Ella and 7 other sweet girls.

Ella was SO excited to get back into it and was even more excited that she knew 4 of the girls on the team.....3 from last season and 1 from preschool last year.

First game is next Saturday and Ella has NO fears this year......she is ready to go!

Ella's #1 FAN! He actually did really well just 'watching'..... but, he definiteldoes want to get out there and play and soon!

The warm-up being lead by the a fabulous soccer coach! Ella LOVES that her daddy is her coach! And so glad that Coach Blake is helping out again!

The Cupcakes are gonna have a GREAT season with such GREAT girls, GREAT coaches, and GREAT parents!

Labor Day

Finally a day to enjoy the pool, relax, and have some fun!

The pool water was PERFECT and it wasn't 'too' hot out!

Joined by my sis and family and crazy Stevie, we had a great time!

It's probably just better that I don't get into the explaination of the next couple of pics....

Logan was a brave boy today doing jumps off the side and into our arms.....We started cheering him on and he loved it. He would dance to our cheers before jumping in..
Logan didn't think much of his new 'float' but Stevie found a great use for it.....
