Fashion show star.....

Ella was asked by our good friend, Wade to be involved in his fashion show this past Saturday.

He has been invited to fashion week in New York and this was his 'pre-party' to that.

Ella was ECSTATIC!!

PAL

"Pal" is Ella's class pet that they get to take turns bringing home for the weekend....

We get to show what Pal got to do by taking photos and documenting it in a book and then it gets passed on to the next student....

Ella was SO excited it was her turn and after Pal got a bath (in the washing machine), he has been busy being cuddled and LOVED all weekend.

I am sure Ella will not be ready to give him back tomorrow

Ella is Star Student

Tuesday, Ella was Star Student.....

Ella and I worked hard together on her poster and she made sure it was all 'perfect'....

The day called for a 'new outfit and a fancy hairdo'......

Ella loved every minute of getting to share this with her class along with bringing her favorite book, "Littlest Pet Shop....Red Riding Hood" (the wolf is nice in this story which Ella loves), My DS with her "littlest pet shop" game as her favorite toy, and skittles that she shared with her class.

Last Sunday.....

After working last Saturday, I was looking forward to Sunday.....and for good reason!

Paul started the day bright and early on the golf course with Blake at Blackstone Country Club.

The kids and I followed Jen and the kids out to the club a little before lunch time to let them play outside there but there was one giant thing effecting everything that day.....

CRAZY WIND!!!!!

After only about 15 minutes outside with the kids, we headed in and sat by a tv waiting for the guys to finish....just too windy.

Soon the guys blew in to meet us and we had a fantastic lunch!!!

Nothing better than a great meal with great friends!

After naps/rest for the kiddos, we headed over to Chris and Kim's for dinner.....

We were going to be the 'guinea pigs' for a meal that Kim's mom usually makes and this was her first try making it herself...

It was REALLY REALLY good!

Pre-Haircut

Took the little guy in for a haircut a little over a week ago.....

Paul's Birthday started out with a Cupcakes soccer game!

Ella was SO happy that Grams and Papa were there to watch!

She had a comfy place to rest when she wasn't in the game...

After naps and some errands, we headed out for dinner, joined by some friends...

Sunday, we headed over to Renee and Kenny's house to celebrate Paul's b-day with my family

Relaxin' weekend....

We had a nice, relaxing weekend!!!!

Friday night, our neighbor Sienna came over to watch "Cinderella" with the kiddos.

They watched in their sleeping bags with fresh popcorn and lemonade!

Saturday morning, it was back to soccer games. At game time, it was 42 degrees but luckily it was nice in the sunshine.

Logan cheered his sister on and ate some doughnuts!

Ella got right back into the action and scored 3 goals!

I ran lots of errands over the weekend and continued my 'running'....now onto week 2 of Couch to 5k. It is a bit of a struggle but I am enjoying it and making progress.....

This afternoon, Paul washed his truck and the kiddos rode their bikes. It was perfect weather!!!

It was a great weekend!

Today is the day......
resolutions....

Some things I want to accomplish for 2011......

1. Run a 5k by the end of the year and like it..... I started 'couch to 5k' today. As much as I didn't want to do it, I DID!!!!!! Now to keep it up and I am actually going to sign up to run a race in March

2. Organize. Organize. Organize....... Room by room..... Bit by bit. Donation by donation.

3. Go on dates with my hubby

4. Enjoy every moment with my kiddos.....they are growing too fast and I can't believe Ella will start kindergarten in the fall :0(

5. Be 20 pounds lighter by 2012

6. Send cards . Tell people ' I love them'. Be grateful for each day. Smile. Hug. Laugh a lot.

7. Make lots of photo books. Get all photos onto disc. Keep taking photos and keep blogging!!!!!!!!

NYE

After a 10 hour shift and luckily getting to leave 2 hours early, we headed over to our friends, the McGlassons to celebrate! We had smoked chicken fajitas and strawberry margaritas (Thanks Blake!) And then butter cake for dessert (Thanks Jen!)
With our full bellies and drinks in hand, we played 9 holes of Golf (card game)
Lets just say the 3 ladies did better at drinking their margaritas then winning the game!
And I did show what a good friend I am by passing all my GREAT cards on to Jen!
We managed to stay up, along with the kiddos, until 10pm ( New York New Year)
After our wishes for a good new year, we headed home to our warm beds!
It was the best way to bring in 2011!!!
