Ella.......so stinkin' funny

Ella is growing up so fast and she is so funny. She is into spelling and letters and numbers and telling stories. All of her stories always include someone getting married and "they lived happily ever after. The end."

She still absolutely LOVES her brother and told me the other day that she is so happy we have him now and could she please have a sister. Uh-oh.

Here's the kids with their new "monsters". Ella had wanted to get her and Logan these a while back but they were $15 each so mommy said "no". Luckily, I found them on clearance and Ella was super happy!We had a play-date with Addy the other day. Don't the girls look cute in front of Megan's pretty new house.

Ella was having a tea party the other day and at first was angry with Sprout for sitting on the blanket when she was setting everything up. Then she said "sorry sprout. you can come to my tea party" She then went and got Sprout's dog food and put in on her own special plate. Too cute. Ella always wants everyone to feel "included" and special.

Ella is JUST like her daddy and CANNOT stand still while talking on the phone. Well, today I had to capture it on video. So hilarious. She is talking to Grammie. Try to ignore the bedhead....she continued on around the table for a couple more minutes talking away.

It's official.........Ella is engaged. She proposed last night......

Ella followed Bradley up the stairs and I followed because I didn't want her to trip on her dress. So glad I tagged along to hear the following take place.......

Ella: "Badley....Badley......will you marry me?"

Bradley: "Um, o.k."

Ella: "Thank you"

ella's last cheer class

Ella had her last cheer class today and had lots of "fans" watching her. Not only were mommy, daddy, and Logan there......but also Grammie, Aunt Renee, Aunt Suz, Uncle Pat, and Jack. She loves to perform in front of a crowd. It was a cute class and they had a great teacher. "Go team GO!"

Thinking back to Christmas and giving, Jaxson and I were watching The Dugger's last night and they took a trip to do service and give to the poor. Jaxson was touched by this and commented that, the don't have any toys mom. I was quick to reply that yes he is very lucky and blessed to have all he has. I then share a story of his dad during Christmas time went to get his haircut and gave the lady 1oo extra dollars. He was shocked and said that was a ton of money and was she poor. I replied that yes she could use some more money. I then shared with him that she told Adam last week that she used some of the money and bought food for a family who didn't have much. Pay it Forward, that is what I shared with him. Service makes you feel good, and maybe someday you will need something or just a friend and it will happen. And they're off

A special treat for Ella and daddy tonight...... They are off to a daddy/daughter dance and they are all dressed up. SOOOOOO cute!!!! Paul took the camera with him so I will post the photos tomorrow. They are going with Ella's good friend Brooke and her daddy. I am sure they will all have a fantastic time. I can't wait to hear all about it.

Logan's 4 month check-up

We headed to the doctor bright and early yesterday. Logan was 26 1/2 inches long which is the 90th percentile for height. He is already a half inch longer than Ella was at 6 months. On the other hand, he weighs 12 pounds 13 ounces which is almost a pound less than Ella weighed at this age. He is a "noisy breather" which he will most likely outgrow, but just to be on the safe side, his doctor is going to run some tests and we will go see an ENT doctor. Logan was a happy little guy at the doctor as you can see.....well that is until his 4 shots!!! poor little guy!

After his shots, modeling his 4 band-aids. He cried pretty hard but mommy was right there with him while he got them! I held him afterwards and he settled down quickly and after a quick snack was back to all smiles again!


It was actually quite cold so he got to wear his fuzzy bear outfit to keep warm

4 months old

I love this little boy!

I can't believe that Logan is 4 months old today! He wore his cute Valentine onesie and socks. He did have jeans on, but they were off for playtime on the floor. This little guy is SO full of smiles. He can light up a room with his grin. When Logan smiles, he smiles with his WHOLE face. I love his fuzzy hair, his animated squeals, his wrinkly left ear, his 'stinky' toes. I love that when I walk into a room and he hears my voice, he immediately looks at me and follows me with his eyes.

This little guy melts his mommy's heart.

Friends

Last night we headed to "Sauce" to meet up with the McGlassons. The kids are always so excited to see each other and they have a great time. We love spending time with them. What great friends we have!!!!! Brooke and Bradley both love baby Logan and whenever there is any talk of him growing up then Brooke calmly says, "Well, Leslie will just have another baby", cracks me up. She has told both Jen and I this.
