Hiking with the kids

It was a beautiful day for a hike and Paul was out of town for the day, so the kids and I went on an adventure up the mountain...

The photos are a little out of order.....we are starting with the view from the top...

We hiked for an hour and a half and the kids loved it!

 Poor Logan took a tumble and skinned up his knee and leg....What a trooper he was, he brushed it off and continued on...

2nd tooth...

After delivering flowes to Grammie for Valentine's day, we went to Smashburger for dinner and guess what happened???

Ella bit into her burger and discovered something 'hard'......HER 2ND TOOTH WAS OUT!!!

Another tooth tucked into a pillow and ready for the tooth fairy!!!

So exciting :0)

The kids awoke to find special bags filled with treats...

 I got two new charms for my bracelet from the kids, both hearts...love them

Ella's 1st tooth FINALLY comes out!!!!

 The super wobbly middle R bottom tooth was barely hanging on when this little gal got home from school and I told her that if she pushed it forward with her tongue that I bet it would come out...

She pushed and out it flew!!!

The VERY LAST kid in her class to lose a tooth was one SUPER EXCITED girl!!!

 It was a night that she was VERY EXCITED to go to bed and made sure that her tooth was secure in the pocket....She used the same pillow I used when I was little and left a note for the tooth fairy to please leave her tooth because she wanted to save it!

 You can see her 'big' tooth already growing in....so glad she finally gave it room

She was one LUCKY girl who received $20 from the tooth fairy for her 1st tooth...

I'm guessing that fairy must not have had change ;0)

Star Helper

Logan was super excited to be Star Helper in his preschool class...

He had a great time making his poster!!!

The boys build a fort...

Ella had her first sleepover (she made it until 10:30pm) so Logan had a sleepover with his daddy in a fort that they built together....

Paul's 40-1 Birthday

So blessed and lucky to have the most wonderful husband and father to our kids...

Happy 39th Birthday Paul!!!

The kids made some great cards and we got him some gifts to help with his 12 week transformation that was starting the following week...(Currently he is down 30lbs from this photo that was taken on his bday 1/15/13)

A teacher in the making

My sweet Ella is quite the teacher....she has learned from great examples these past few years and takes every opportunity to teach me, her dad, and her brother and on one early morning, even her Monster High Girls...

Day 15: All good things must come to an end....

Unfortunately, as much as we didn't want to leave, our flight home was on New Year's Day...

We gave our hugs and kisses and said our 'see you soons' and with our MANY bags in hand, got ready to catch our flight...

 My airport picnic....my last bit of Barts :0( sniffle sniffle....

 and they are out....

We arrived safe and sound back at home...

What an amazingly wonderful vacation we had...

SOOOOOO glad that we decided to make that last minute decision and go...
