The Greatest Show on Earth......and a birthday party

I guess you could say it is now 'tradition' to head to the Greatest Show on Earth in the end of June. We went last year and Ella really liked it (Paul REALLY did too), so I bought tickets again a few months back. We loaded up bright and early so we could get down for the pre-show the hour before it started. We had some extra guests this year joining us.....GrandBill and Papa. We all enjoyed the show!

Snapped by the mommy papparazzi on the way. I got to ride in the WAY back again. It was okay because we watched "Ella Enchanted" which I love. Don't you love her shades?

After the circus and our drive home, we took the long 4 houses down walk to Sienna's 1st B-day party! The backyard was super fun for the kids with sprinklers and kiddie pools! Ella LOVED IT!

Logan watched his crazy sister and showed off holding his own sippy cup! Good job my sweets!

Happy Birthday Sienna! She did a GREAT job with her cake. Way to go messy girl!

The Great Escape

Paul's grandad (Ella calls him "GrandBill") arrived Tuesday evening. We decided to take a couple of days and head north to the cooler weather in Flagstaff for some relaxing. We rented a great little place and had a wonderful time. We spent ALOT of time outdoors.......it was perfect! Ella and Logan loved to be outside. We did a quick grocery shop when we got there and Ella asked after a few minutes of shopping if we could go back to our 'new house'. I wish it was ours!

We ate all of our meals on the deck outside. Logan loved it!

We had such a good time. It was really nice to get away and have 'nothing' to do. I hope we can do it again soon!

We spent the day together as a family. After breakfast burritos this morning (Paul's request) and Ella having a cheese crisp which she called "a slimy pizza", we did some stuff around the house and got ready to head to my sister's for a bbq. Below is a photo of Logan in his new big boy carseat.......I think he really likes it!

A Party Fit For A Princess

Ella has been SO very excited for today. I blogged a while back about Ella receiving her cute 'glass slipper' invitation and finally the party arrived. I learned today that Ella's hair does not really like to curl, but I tried.... She was very excited to have sparkly pink cheeks and lips.... Here she is with the birthday girl.

The food was very cute and very yummy. Ella chose the princess crown PB&J....Oh, and she LOVED the fabulous pink lemonade in the sugar rimmed glass.
