Last night was the annual daddy/daughter dance...

This is their 4th year attending and I smiled looking at the pics from the past 3 years that are posted in Ella's room.....so sweet and I can't believe how much Ella has grown

Ella's new dress was so adorable. Logan picked in out for her at the mall one day when just the two of us were shopping and we surprised her with it when we picked her up from school that day....Logan couldn't wait for her to see it! She couldn't stop twirling when she put it on yesterday....

She was ready to go when Paul got home from work....after he got dressed he asked Ella how he looked and she smiled and said, "good daddy, but could you pull your pants down just a little bit. I think it would look alot better".....hilarious

So sweet...

The annual photo out front....

Love them!

Logan and I dropped them off and we took some photos before they headed in...

I Love my Kiddos!!!

I asked Logan as we drove away who the prettiest girl in the world was and he quickly responded, "Ella!"

And off to the dance they went...

Logan and I joined 3 other moms and their sons for our own 'mommy/son' date night!

We went out for a nice dinner and had a wonderful time....Logan held my hand and melted my heart with all his hugs and kisses....he told me 'thank you mommy. I had fun'

We couldn't wait to pick up Paul and Ella and hear all about their night. They had a great time and were both exhausted from all their dancing!

Valentine's Day....

We were all excited for Valentine's Day this year....

After taking Ella to school, Logan and I came home and made some cookies...

He LOVES to help these days with EVERYTHING!

Quite the good little froster...

And taster...
That's even better than a thumb's up....

We then got ready and headed over to surprise Grammie and Papa and deliver some cookies and flowers....

Look at cute Daisy trying to help Logan color...

Daisy LOVES logan!

Grammie Loved her flowers!

Kisses for Grams....

And then we were off to pick up Ella and wait for daddy to get home...

He brought me some beautiful flowers ....loved them!

We then got ready and headed out for our Valentine's dinner....

Nothing the kids love more than Chickfila....

They do a really cute 'special' valentine's dinner, so we made reservations and had our table waiting for us....

The tablecloths, candles, heart confetti, 'real' fancy cups and plates, menus, and the guitar music being played made it all very special :0)

The kids got to open their special Valentine's from us while we were there...

big fuzzy dogs and some new books for each of them...

And what is more festive than a giant cow on Valentine's Day!

No better way to spend the day than with those that I LOVE!!!!

Skirt Chaser

Last Saturday, I met up with some of my best friends from college days in Tempe for the Skirt Chaser 5K....it was really warm that day....82 degrees, but we had a great time and can't wait for our next run, next month....

An Unexpected Guest....

Paul had just gotten home from work and was parking his truck when I heard him yelling, "COME HERE NOW!"

The balloon truck and trailer was in front of our house, so we knew it was landing close, really close.....

We see hot air balloons all the time since we are so close to the desert, but this was quite amazing as it landed RIGHT next to our house and confirmed the fact that I will never fly in one!

They usually land quite a bit further north but there wasn't wind this day and the pilot said if he didn't land in our street, he and the 15 or more people in the basket would have been 'stuck' in the desert....

Ella taking video with daddy's phone...
The landing...

Then they had to drag the balloon across the street into our neighbor's yard so they could deflate the balloon...

Look at how hard these guys are pulling to get the 'beast' to deflate and come down

Starting to deflate....look how massive it is

It was quite the neighborhood event and was fun for us all to watch....

The ice cream man even showed up to make some sales....

The ginormous balloon folds down into a little ball that gets shoved into a small storage box...it was great to watch and it was funny when all the people in the balloon started taking pictures of all of us that were watching them land....

Ella's Beard....

Was a little surprised when I went to pick up my pretty princess from school and instead I found my daughter had grown a beard!!!

I am still amazed everyday and all she is learning and I am so proud of her...

Ella Lincoln???
Honest Ella?
