Snow in AZ!!!

It was COLD in Arizona today....
47 degrees was the high temperature....
And around the Phoenix area today, we all got to see some snow flurries!
The kids were SO excited to see it falling from the sky out the family room window.
Of course, the snow didn't stick but it was nice to watch....
We ran outside to try and catch a couple snowflakes and it was sunny when we got out here...
Logan and his flake...
Ella and her flake
We will be bundled up tonight for the freezing temperatures......brrrrrrrrrrr

Water.......Toilet and Rain

I woke up yesterday morning to find that we had a new 'aquatic' animal in our downstairs toilet.....nope, not a fish. nope, not a dolphin. nope, not a lobster....
A SCORPION!!!!!
I didn't think they could swim, but I witnessed this LITTLE guy's nice swimstroke....
ICK!!!!
Guess we need to start checking the seat before we sit!
And, HELLO SCORPION.....this is the middle of winter and you should be dead or hibernating!!!

A blurry close-up of the awful insect.
And then, later in the day, came the water from the sky!!!
RAIN....RAIN.....and more RAIN!!!
Ella and I had a girls night out date with Megan and Addy so we bundled up, put on our rain boots, and headed out!
After dinner and splashing through BIG puddles, we went to the movies and saw "Tangled".
What a FANTASTIC movie!!! we all loved it and can't wait for it to come out on video!
