Splash.....Splash......Splash Park

Summer is here!

Time to find 'something' to do to keep the kids busy and having fun!

Today we joined some friends at Westgate's splash park......

There are LOTS of photos here, but I couldn't decide...

And soon the little ones joined the feeding frenzy

After a quick change of clothes and some lunch, we walked around for a bit!

This little gal is soooo cute, she spent most of the splash time taking care of her babies.....

And carrying around her plastic bag of clothes and her purse!

Ella and Mya are just 6 days apart in age.......11/3 and 11/9

Whitney is just a month older than Logan 9/10 and 10/9

Looking forward to many more fun summer days!

And more friends joining us and not taking a 'wrong turn' on the way as Ella said!

Swim Lessons

Monday was the start of swim lessons and we were a little nervous about how the kids would do. Ella was NOT looking forward to them and Logan LOVES the water, so we had an idea how the 1st day would go! Well, we were WRONG!

Ella LOVED her 1st day and Logan SCREAMED for the first half of his!

Ella was REALLY hoping for a 'girl' teacher, but she got a 'boy'...

He is super nice and GREAT with the kids!

SOOOOO.....then came day 2 and the story CHANGES!

Logan was a happy little guy and played and laughed through his lesson!

Ella was PETRIFIED and CRIED and WOULD NOT get in the pool!

REALLY??? It was awful!

After what felt like 5 hours and a trip to the bathroom, I managed to convince her to get in the pool........She didn't do much and who knows WHY this happened.....

Needless to say, there are no 'swim' photos of Ella from this day.

Wednesday I worked and there was NO way that Paul was going to attempt the cry fest of someone at swim class by himself....

Then came Thursday and we had talked with Ella ALOT about class....

It went GREAT and she actually said to me after class, "mommy, I was wrong to be scared. Swim class is GREAT!"

Woo-hoo, lets see how next week goes!

An amazing 'weather' break.....

We had a great 'cool down' in our weather earlier this week and we took advantage of it by spending LOTS of time outdoors!

We headed to the park both Monday and Tuesday mornings!

It was fun and the kids took GREAT naps!

Wish the perfect weather could last forever, but it is already GONE!

Who would have thought that the temp would drop to 73 degrees and the sun would go away just moments after we jumped in!

It was still a fun day and at least the SUNS WON!!!!!!!
