I can't believe it has come and gone!
It was a fantastic day!

It wasn't a super early morning......7am.
We asked Ella if she was excited and she said, "Yes. Can we just go back to sleep for a bit?"
Hilarious......Paul simply said, "you are one of a kind!"
Ella and I waited upstairs for Logan to wake up while Paul put in the turkey.
Ella first wanted her stocking and to see if Santa ate 'it all'
Ella asked Santa for a rocking horse and she got the most special rocking horse ornament attached to this note.......Logan absolutely LOVES remote controls! This was one of his favorite gifts.....a GIANT remote

Christmas Eve.......

Yipeeeee! The best news came this morning, no 5am phone call. I was cancelled at work and got to enjoy the day with my family.
Did some stuff around the house, Ella enjoyed some park time, and then time to get ready for church.
After mass, we headed to my parents and after a quick dinner, we opened our family gifts!
Let's just say we ended up with a car full of toys and tired kids!

Logan LOVES to feed people....Here he is sharing his cookie with Auntie Suz
Ella and Grams......

Jack LOVED his nerf gun!
Ella really LOVES build-a-bear these days and this lucky girl got a Bear-armoire from her aunties/uncles......even had some new clothes, shoes, and undies for her furry friends
Logan got a great little keyboard that actually has some popular 'pop' songs on it.....yipee!
Thanks Auntie Renee and Uncle Kenny
Ella had to try out her brother's new rocking doggy........I have a feeling between the two of them this toy is going to get ALOT of use! Thanks Grams and Papa!
Logan LOVED his new mini coupe! BEEP BEEP! Thanks Auntie Suz, Uncle Pat, and Jack
Look at the GINORMOUS bow!
Gotta love the stocking goodies.
Ella couldn't wait to try her lollipop.....
Silly Uncle Kenny steals a lick!
And then Logan got to try out his new 'truck'......super cute!
It is a ride on and a big push toy.......
He loves that it makes noises.....
Thanks Grams and Papa! Thanks to Uncle Kenny for assembling!

It was a whirlwind of present opening and craziness!
Wish I would have gotten some more pics........ I thought I had taken more....always tomorrow
Ella and Logan fell asleep in the car and as hard as we tried to wake Ella up (as she had requested) so she could put the goodies out for Santa and Rudolph, we just couldn't do it!
She was SOUND asleep, but I took some photos as proof!

My parents neighbor, Tom, makes the BEST chocolate chip cookies.
Ella loves them and had asked him if he would make some for her to leave Santa.
Thanks Tom for not only making Santa cookies but for making some extras for us!!!!

The New 'Do'

It was time for a haircut for my sweet little gal!
She was starting to get stringy, knotty hair.......not fun!
Whenever I asked her how she wanted to get her hair cut, she answered, "like you mommy!"
Of course, we went to Sweet & Sassy and we waited until Nannie had arrived so she could join us.
Ella ended up with the most ADORABLE little stacked bob!
I LOVE it!

Before....

After......

And, of course, you can't go to Sweet & Sassy without eating lunch at Sauce.......

Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tail

After having a fantastic experience with seeing "Peter Pan" with the Valley Youth Theater, we were excited to see their holiday special.
Instead of buying Christmas gifts, we decided with Megan and Addy to get tickets to the show.
We went this past Saturday.....
The stage before the show.....beautiful set
Me and my Ella
Our 2 cute girlies! both in their gingerbreads!
The show was great and Ella was so excited to meet the cast after!
Addy wasn't as eager......she stood back and waved to the characters.
Ella HAD to have her photo with each one!
Ella and Pooh.....
Meeting a cute forest animal....

Addy finally warmed up to Piglet for a photo. Piglet was sooooo talented and only 10yrs old
Ella and owl
The girls with Piglet.....I think they liked her so much because she was 'pink'
Had to get this photo with daddy's favorite Tigger
Rabbit was Ella's favorite in this show!
After grabbing some lunch, we headed back to Megan and Addy's house where Addy showed off her hula-hooping skills! This is one super talented little girl! She is amazing.....
She can get 3 hoops going at the same time and when the hoop goes down to her knees, she can bring it back up!
This is the 'going fast' face!
Ella was trying so hard.....this photo actually looks like she is 'hooping'
One SUPER DUPER HOOPER!
