Tigger, Pooh, and Grams and Papa too!

Today we headed to the Valley Youth Theater to see
"Winnie the Pooh.....A Christmas Tail"
Ella and I had seen it last year and she couldn't wait to go back.
This year we were joined by Logan, Paul, Grams and Papa....

The lobby waiting to go in....
Waiting for the show to begin....
There are no photos allowed to be taken during the show but all the characters were outside on our way out.....
Ella and her forest friend....
Logan ran in for a hug!
Logan, Owl, and Ella.....Logan couldn't take his eyes off his new friend
Logan's FAVORITE.....TIGGER!!!
Ella's FAVORITE.....rabbit!
And, of course, everyone's favorite.....Pooh
The kids loved eeyore too!!!

We had a GREAT time!!!

All good things must come to an end....

Sunday morning breakfast was YUMMY!!!
Breakfast burritos compliments of Chef Paul and Assistant Chef Blake!!!

Our furry squirrel friend enjoyed the nuts we left out for him....
He was really cute and you can't tell in this photo, but his ears were furry and looked like feathers....
After packing up and cleaning up, the daddies took the kids for one last forest adventure to see the horses down the road....

Searching for treasures...
Here are a couple quick photos of our cabin....The Acorn Cabin

The gang on the back porch....

And one last pic on the side porch of the McGlasson and Barron clans!

What GREAT FUN we had!!!
Let's hope for another adventure next year!!!

Snowday Saturday.....

We awoke.....not too early.....on Saturday morning to some light falling snow
The kids were excited to get to breakfast with Santa and they all wore their jammies!

Santa was sitting by the fireplace and Logan sprinted to him....
A quick family photo before breakfast....
The food was excellent and Brooke made sure Logan was all cleaned up....
Waiting for the adults to finish, the girls looked out the window at the falling snow...
And the boys were back to their games....
Santa even made a visit during breakfast and once again Logan was mesmerized by the man in the red suit....he LOVES Santa...
After breakfast, we made a quick stop at the end of the 'road to nowhere'

Love these next 2 photos of my sweet boy...

After arriving back to the cabin, Blake and Paul went on an adventure to find some sleds...
the kids and mommies had a gingerbread contest...
team girls=leslie
team boys=jen
Let's just say.....when you have 2 impatient mommies who don't read directions, things may not go exactly as planned

the girls were proud of the 'G' on their roof.....notice the roof is no longer attached
the messy mommy hands.....
After the initial devastation that their roof collapsed, the boys decided it was more fun to eat than build
GO TEAM GIRLS!
The guys returned from shopping and we all got bundled up....
Just a quick 15 minute drive away was the best hill of brand new powder for us to enjoy!
it was a cold blowing blizzard when we stepped out of the cars, but luckily when we climbed past the trees, we were protected
Bradley was first to blast down the hill.....much to everyone's surprise
Then Paul and Ella were ready to take on the hill....
Daddy took Logan next.....
The kids really enjoyed the snow....
The mommies had a race down the hill and I think we still have bum bruises!
Logan had a great time! Can you tell????
It was time for a sledding break and the kids built snowmen and we all had a snowball fight!
Wish I could say we built this, but we didn't....isn't he cute???? Love his eyebrows!

Snow angel time!
Logan worked really hard on his snowman....

After a few more runs down the hill, it was time to pack up and head back to the warm cabin where we found Nonna enjoying peace and quiet....
Paul was DETERMINED to spend a bit of time in the jacuzzi....no one wanted to join him!
He was super excited to find the turbo jets!
Bath time for the boys....
And girls....
And then the clean kids bundled up in their comfy matching jammies....

The crazy girls!
The cute and innocent boys!
When joined by Paul, they became crazy!
Paul's FAVORITE Black Friday purchase of mine, was matching family jammies....
He has wanted some for a couple of years and his wish came true!
Time for yummy lasagna!!!
And then a night of drinks and cards! So MUCH FUN!!!
Especially after Jen recovered slowly from her appendicitis :0)
