Baseball and my vegetarian.....

Tuesday was Diamondback Daddy Day at preschool.....
Nothing cuter than these two!!!
They played t-ball, ate hot dogs, and then the kiddos all got to 'shave' their daddies with shaving cream and a popsicle stick....too cute!
Ella LOVES her daddy and has him wrapped around her little finger!
Today was career day at preschool.....
Ella had thrown some different ideas out including a princess, a pirate, etc..... but I was hoping for a more realistic choice .....and then she decided, "Mommy, what about a vegetarian?!?"
Too cute.....she meant a veterinarian....
And thanks to Jen McG saving the day with the scrubs, Ella looked adorable!
She had her bandaged kitty, her scrubs and crocs, her Dr. name tag, and a basket of tools....

The Weather.....

Our weather has been AMAZING!!!
(Minus the Wind on Monday which stirred up my allergies)
We have been spending our days outside playing and enjoying the days!

Batman deciding what to do next.....Can't believe how big my little guy is getting. He is a master of the big slide and plays with the 'big' kids now
Our cute little buddy, Kellen....so glad to have him well and back at the park playing (and eating sand)
And this little gal has had multiple growth spurts....She can now reach the bar with no help and swings away.....love my little monkey
And what's better than friends at the park :0)
And after naptime, we head to the backyard to play....
As you can see in the background, Paul and the kiddos graffiti all over our fence.....hope all the chalk washes off :0)
The kids love to run and chase each other and play in the sand....all while listening to music.
LOVE these days!

Cupcakes Season Ends......

What a difference a year makes.....
I can't believe how much Ella has improved from the 'scared' littlest player into a 'goal scoring aggressive' player that is so much fun to watch
Although, it will be nice to have Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings free for a bit, I will miss soccer and I know Ella and Coach Daddy will too!
The Cupcakes had a double header this past Saturday and there were lots of people there to cheer them on.
I love how Ella took every opportunity to sit on Gram's lap....
Some action shots.....
Look at this smile....this girl loves soccer!
Such a sweet group of girls....loved their huddle. I asked Ella what they were talking about and they were really talking about their strategy.....too cute.

Coach Paul and his Cupcakes....
The team after they got their medals....
Coach Paul introduced them as the 'sweetest' team in the league!
So proud of her medal
Can't wait for next season and her big move up to the next level!

Daddy's Girl

Tonight is the 3rd annual Daddy/Daughter Dance for Ella and her daddy!
She has been so excited.....daddy too!

Striking a pose.....that's my girl!

Daddy and Ella

The last 2 years, Brooke and Blake joined them, but this year they weren't able to :0(
Luckily, we have fabulous neighbors that were able to join them. Ella LOVES Sienna and she is now the perfect age to start going to the dance. She looked adorable!
Here are the girls with their handsome daddies!

The princesses in their carriage :0)
And away they go......

Can't wait to hear all about it!

Valentine's weekend and Day!!!

We have had our house decorated for weeks with hearts!
Ella has been a Valentine crafting queen!
Thursday, Ella had her Valentine party at school. She wrote out all her Valentines and was decked out it pink, red, and hearts.
I braided her hair and she told me that I was 'really good' and I should open my own salon.
They made Valentine bags at school and Ella's was adorable. Her teacher even commented to me on how much she loved Ella's bag. It even had 'earrings'
Saturday was another soccer game and they played quite an 'aggressive' little bunch of gals.
Ella played great and scored 5 goals! Grammie, Papa, Aunt Renee, and Aunt Suz were all at the game and after each goal she would give a thumbs up and run over for a 'high-five'.....
Ella's really showed off her good footwork in this game.......
Logan marched around and ate candy from his aunts......
Ella in goal.....she saved a couple.
After her game, Auntie Suz and Auntie Renee took Ella out for lunch and to the mall to get a new build-a-bear. She was sad that all the love bugs were gone but got a cute brown bunny named 'giggles' and 2 princess outfits for her. Ella loved her 'spoiled' afternoon.
That night, Paul and I dropped the kiddos off with Aunt Renee and Uncle Kenny and headed out for dinner. We went to Firebird's Grill and it was YUMMY! The kids had a GREAT time and didn't want to go home!!!
Sunday morning, after eating some yummy doughnuts, it was time to make some Valentine treats. I had found a recipe for 'pink popcorn' and made a couple of batches.....It got the 'thumbs up' on the taste test!
And then on to big chocolate cupcakes!!!! SO GOOD!!!!!
Our neighbors came over to join us for steak and we spent the rest of the day enjoying the weather outside. The kids had a great time playing.....it was a great day.
After bathtime, the kids got their treats from mom and dad and the Valentine fairy.
Logan got a Yogi Bear playset and a Super Scooby stuffed toy.
Ella got a set of underwater pixos and a phineas and ferb ds game.....
Super sweet!
" No kisses EWWA!"
Logan loves his Yogi and 'moomoo'
Yesterday, we delivered some Valentine treats and the kids got to play with their cousin Sammie (a cute puppy).......then we picked up lunch and headed to Grammie and Papa's where some more Valentine surprises were waiting.....
We finished off the day with a heart shaped pizza and some more surprises from Nannie and Muntz! Oh, and Ella was happy because daddy brought her home some special flowers :0)
Happy Hearts Day Everyone!!!

A couple of more 'funnies'

We are working on potty training and this little guy isn't about to even begin to think about 'pooping in the potty'.....but we are working on it with bribes in place.
The Yogi Bear movie and now a new Batman toy sit on the counter, just waiting.....
Well, last night I was in the bathroom with Logan 'cheering' him on and he let out a big 'toot'....
He thought this was hilarious and thought it was even funnier that I commented on how 'stinky' it was.
When we came out of the bathroom (no poop)....Ella says, "Logan, I heard that toot and I smelled it. It smelled like OLD BEEF!"
This morning as we were getting ready for preschool, I sang Ella a little song.
Me:
Good morning, good morning, good morning my El
You are SO cute but your toes STINKY SMELL!
Ella:
Good morning, good morning, good morning mommy dear
You smell like applesauce and a BEER!
I tell ya, this gal keeps me laughing!!!
