Day 14: New Year's Eve

Just had to share a photo of the 'drink mart' 
The Germans take their beer quite seriously!

 After a bit of shopping in the am, we got ready for some fireworks and sparklers...
Had to celebrate early since we were flying out the next day...

 Ella finally got over her fear of sparklers and had a great time...

 Logan was NOT a fan of the fireworks or sparklers and decided to go inside and 'maybe' watch from the safety of the house...

 Chivers had decided while we were there that he liked Logan...

 And as the many fireworks went off at midnight, a bagpiper could be heard playing down the street....
What a great end to 2012 and a great beginning to 2013!!!

Day 13: Schloss Rheydt
