Elfie.....our elf

Naughty or nice? That is the question Santa will ask Elfie each night about little Ella. I was looking through a catalog and discovered this great new tradition that we started yesterday. We decided to exchange elf on a shelf (www.elfonashelf.com) with our friends for a Christmas gift. It is a little set that comes with a book explaining the process and a little elf which Ella got to name (since Woagie isn't big enough). As you can see, our elf is named Elfie and Ella is wanting only good information to be reported to Santa each night when Elfie flies back to the North Pole. It is working quite well to promote good 'listening'. Each morning Elfie lands in a different 'hiding' place and it is Ella's job to find him.....it didn't take her long this morning.

Love that Grin!

Just had to share a couple photos of our happy little guy!

Who Is That Masked Man?

Spiderman.....Spiderman........Paul!

"This day has come way too quickly".......those were the first words out of Paul's mouth yesterday morning. He agreed to put on a spandex suit and make an appearance at our friend's little boy's birthday party. His payment.....a round of golf that he is sooooooooo looking forward to. He hasn't been golfing in months, so he can't wait. To be honest, I think he really loved being Spidey and the golf is just an added bonus! I got the priviledge of watching him practice his "poses" on Friday night which was quite hilarious and I know that even though you couldn't see his face, he was flashing a cheesey grin in each and every photo.

Many of the kids ran to meet him but one little girl didn't want to even come outside. "Spiderman scares me"....said Ella. This was super hard on daddy, having his little girl petrified of him, but he was somehow able to keep from talking (didn't want the accent to give his identity away). We finally managed to get some photos of the two......but she was still scared!

Absolutely Terrified!

Logan wasn't scared a bit!

And I REALLY don't want to go back to work, so I decided Paul will be doing this each and every weekend to earn some extra money, so let me know when you need him!

Elf Yourself

I forgot about this site.......hilarious. I made us into elves last year and just finished doing it again with our newest Barron elf added. Take a look and make sure to make your own dancing elves with your family.

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas

We managed to get the Christmas tree up and the indoor and outdoor decorations up this past weekend. Ella was a BIG help and she enjoyed every minute of it.

When we were done, Ella ran to her kitchen and got cookies for Santa and a carrot and pickles for the reindeer which she placed right by the tree. When daddy told her that Santa wasn't coming for a long time, she quickly replied, "But Daddy, I don't want to miss him!" Love her and her "funniness"

Thanksgiving Day

We had alot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving....... Number one on our list, our new little Barron and his wonderful big sister. We spent the day at my sister's house and ate lots of yummy food! It was a great day!

Posing for the camera.....as always
