Funny Food Facts by Ella

" I can't eat butter....remember last time. Butter makes me cough. Butter isn't good for me"
"Grammie told me that roast beast isn't good for me. She told me not to eat it"
"Can you give me something good and healthy for me to eat? Candy is healthy for me."
"Mommy/Daddy (depending on who isn't home at the time) told me I shouldn't eat that. It isn't good for me. It could make me sick"
As you can see, we have a super picky eater on our hands.......

Paul's Birthday Weekend

Well.....we were a bit late since Paul was out of town on his birthday, but we did some celebrating this weekend. We headed to Chick-fila on Saturday before cheer class. Paul was excited to see Ella cheer since he missed last weeks class. Saturday evening, we headed to AH-SO to meet the McGlasson family and celebrate Paul (1/15) and Jen's (1/16) birthdays. The food was fantastic and it was great spending time with our friends. Sunday, we headed over to Suz and Pat's for pizza and wings (compliments of Grammie and Papa) and homemade cheesecake with homemade blueberry topping (compliments of Suz). It was a beautiful day and we were able to spend some time outside in the sunshine.

Our Princess....An Ella Update

It has been a while since I have posted anything. It has been busy around here since Thursday when Paul went out of town. Ella was very upset because it was daddy's birthday and he was missing it (to be celebrated next weekend). We had grammie stay over with us on Thursday night and Suz,Pat,and Jack on Friday night to help Ella cope with daddy being away. Ella told Grammie as we were walking through Target, "Grammie, it is just not fair. I want my daddy to come home. Oh, I miss him." She was finding pictures that she had taken with her camera of daddy and kissing them. She is daddy's girl.
Ella is very much into being a big girl and is so proud of accomplishments that she makes. She had to show both Grammie and Uncle Pat how she can get dressed by herself. Uncle Pat let her pick out her clothes and below is a photo of her choice. Daddy was proud that she chose a Liverpool shirt.
She had her first cheerleading class on Saturday morning and is so happy to be back in a class with her friend Brooke. They were SO cute in class and the teacher did a great job with them. Ella has been sharing her cheer with everyone since class....."GO TEAM GO......WE'RE NUMBER 1" I can't wait for next week's class!
Ella spends her days practicing writing her name, having stories read to her, riding her bike, and watching her new favorite show "Scooby-Doo" (thanks to cousin Jack).
Ella's most favorite thing to do is to tell everyone she meets that she has a baby brother "Loags" and that she is a "Big Sister".......so sweet. She sure does love her brother!!!
Our poor little girl woke up last night about 45 minutes after she went to sleep with a horrible case of croup. I had to call into work on what was to be my 2nd day back (caused some stress to me) and off to the doctor we went this morning. She got a shot of steroids and has been doing MUCH better today. Let's hope we get some sleep tonight because last night was rough for all of us!
"i've got style"..........mommy convinced her to change before we left the house.....whew!
"Go team go.....we're number 1"

Poor little sore leg from her shot today......she told Loags all about it

Such a clever boy!!!!! A Logan Update

Logan is such a sweet....sweet boy (have I ever said that before?) He is SO close to rolling over onto his tummy. He is talking SOOOOO much and I swear he said "mama" the other day. His big blue eyes are so beautiful and make you smile. Right now he is sitting on his daddy's lap and his giggle is the cutest sound ever! He watches every move his sister makes when she is near him. He loves to have his hands in his mouth and he is such a "knuckle sucker". Logan is sleeping so well these days....asleep at 8:30m and up at 5:45am for a snack and then usually back to bed until 7am. I LOVE this little boy!

It's SNOW much fun!!!!

Today we headed to St. Joan of Arc Preschool where my sister teaches to join them for snow day. Ella has not seen snow before and was convinced that we would have snow for Christmas, because that is what happens in all the shows and books. She didn't quite know what to think of it at first but loved it! She especially liked that she got to wear her "rain boots"her first snow angel....
a superhero snow pose?
more smiley snow angels
tossing a snowball at Auntie Suz
Ella and her snowman
cute little snow girl
daydreaming in the snow
yet another snow angel
