Cupcakes at Canyon...

The Cupcakes played hard yesterday morning at their soccer game....

I am proud to say, Ella worked EXTRA hard on the field.

She is doing great this year, really focused and showing some fantastic moves with the ball.

Although they didn't win, we were all proud of how much they are improving...

After an afternoon rest, we headed down to Grand Canyon Univ for the Cupcakes to walk out the Lady Lopes...

getting ready....

They looked really cute out on the field...

The National Anthem...

Most of the Cupcakes stayed until halftime and cheered for the 'Lopes from the stands...

GCU won 4-1

Update on my Logan...

Wednesday was the 'day'.....the dreaded one, the one I wanted to be over with before it started...

Logan was scheduled for his 'annual' renal ultrasound and VCUG....

He despises the ultrasounds and this year, with him being potty trained, I dreaded the thought of the catheter :0(

Here is Logan waiting for the 'fun' to begin....

Blowing bubbles and having a great time....'before' it starts...
The procedures were torture...it was just plain awful.
He was a super brave boy and did such a good job...
There were MANY tears that day...both at the hospital and at home when he tried to go potty after....
Fingers were crossed for good news...

The next day was our appointment with our favorite urologist...
Logan really does like his doctor and was happy to see him and told him right away, "no more surgery!" ....not even sure where he got that from
We found out the tests looked GREAT!!!
No more CATHETERS each year to have the VCUG done....YIPEEEEE!
Logan will have to continue having a yearly ultrasound to monitor his kidney growth, but we can handle that since it is not invasive...
We celebrated with dinner and ice cream at Chickfila!!!

SO incredibly happy to have such good news about Logan....

Batman Birthday Party

Yesterday was Logan's 3rd Birthday.....

We celebrated as he wished.....Batman style

The morning started out with Ella giving him her special gift.....A Happy Napper!!!

These two LOVE info-mercials so that is where they discovered these!

Watching Logan's favorite show "Wubzy" with his happy napper dragon
Next, we skyped with Nannie and Muntz and Logan opened his Bat Cave and his Batman watch!
Woo-hoo!!!

Then it was breakfast time....doughnuts per Logan's request
He also opened up a fabulous gift from GG and Pete-Pete....a BATMAN COSTUME!!!!
He loved it!!!

Next we skyped with Auntie Jojo and Uncle Curtis and Logan LOVED his Batcopter that has a 'shooter' and his Jake and the Neverland Pirate cd (we listened to it all day)

Logan wasn't feeling 'quite himself' and asked to take an early nap.....Ella and I got to work on finishing his cupcakes...

Concentration...

The Cupcake tower!!! (plus about 2 dozen more that didn't fit)

Thanks Nannie for the cupcake toppers!

Logan got to open some other presents early before the party....

The AWESOME scooter from Grammie and Papa!!!

The ever so anticipated 'Doggie Doo' game and a Batman laptop from Aunt Renee and Uncle Kenny

A homemade 'Poopie' shirt, a jelly bean pooping cow, and a nerf dart gun game from Auntie Suz, Uncle Pat, and Jack

Now to quickly cover the BAD parts of the day!!!!

1. I had ordered Logan a Batman t-shirt transfer that had his name, the numer 3, and a boy dressed as Batman on it. It DIDN'T WORK!!! Not even a little bit. Luckily, Logan had many back-up Batman shirts.... When emailing the lady I bought it from, I learned that there were some 'duds' that she had made and LUCKY ME, I got one!!!! Hmmm.....maybe she could have just sent out an email to me before asking if I got the 'bad one'.....waiting for a refund!!!

2. I had a cotton candy machine reserved to come with the bouncy house.....I had it booked for WEEKS now. It was supposed to be delivered with the bouncy house between 12pm-1pm...I called the lady at 12:30 to 'check' on things only to learn that the cotton candy machine was 'stolen' or 'missing' and did I want the money off or something else.....I chose the money off....CRUMMY!!!!

3. Back to the bouncy house.....yep, was supposed to arrive between 12pm-1pm and when I was finding out about the inability to provide the cotton candy, I was told that the delivery guy was heading our way and would be here soon. Party to start at 2pm. Well, again we called at 1:30pm, no answer....I am NOT happy at this point!!! 1:50pm....oh, she answers to tell me that he will be here "soon", but if he is not here by 2:30pm, she will give me $20 off.....Heart is racing at this point......Guests are arriving and there is 'NO BOUNCY!!!!' The clock ticks SLOWLY by....The time is now 2:30pm, YES 2:30pm......the delivery guy calls to tell me that he is on the 101 freeway and his GPS says 20 minutes and we do live on Union Hills, right???? UMMMM....NO!!!!!!! We are about 10 miles north of that! This now makes him 40 MINUTES away!!!! To sum it up, the bouncy house arrived at 3:30pm....Deep breath.....

We decided to do the party a little backwards since the bouncy was not here.....Pinata first!!!

Go Logan!!!

Go Piper!!!

Go Sienna!!!Go Sophia!!!

Go Noah!!!

Go Nolan!!!

Get it Logan!!!

Go Ella!!!

Finally, it was torn apart!!! Candy for all!!!

Presents next.....

Logan was one lucky boy!!!

Logan and his buddies Piper and Nolan!!!

Thanks to the parents and kiddos for putting up with the 'wait'.....

We managed to stall for a bit with Musical chairs.....Still no bouncy, so lets do the CUPCAKES!!!

Happy Birthday sweet boy!!! Cha cha cha!!!

Look at those puffed up cheeks!!!

Enjoying the cupcakes....

And finally it arrives....dirty and dusty, but bouncy....that is all that mattered....

The delivery guy actually had the nerve to ask me at 2:30pm if I still wanted it....

Ummm....yes!!!!

Luckily the kids enjoyed it!

Logan with his Grammie and Papa!!! Two of his FAVORITE people!!!

Aunt Renee and Uncle Kenny with the birthday boy!!!

Ella the artist worked hard on some decorations to hang on the front door!

Logan back in the bouncy house!!!

Our poor little boy had a fever and was just plain tuckered out by the end.....

He just wasn't quite himself all day, but still managed to have a great time!!!

After a good night's sleep, he was much better today....

He giggled and giggled as we played 'Doggie Doo' and this is the first poopie!!!

Happy Birthday Logan!!! You are LOVED!!!!

3 years old.......

My sweet blue eyed boy.....

Never thought I could love you more than I did the first time I laid eyes on you,

but I love you more each day!

Your smile lights up a room and so do your eyes!

You are just so stinkin' cute!!!

I love watching you grow!

You have become such an amazing little boy!

You make me laugh every day!!!

Your favorite word to say is "poopie" and every time you say it, you giggle!!!

You run really fast!!!

You have great hand/eye coordination and can hit a ball, catch a ball, throw a ball, and kick a ball!!!

You still love your naps and often tell me when you are ready for one!

You love your sister (even though you also torment her)!!!

You give the best hugs and kisses!!!

You love bandaids!!!!

Your day revolves around food and you relate everything to food (for example: whenever I say you need a haircut, you say "by the turkey sandwiches")

You are giggling so hard right now that you are about to cry because you are playing 'Doggie Doo', your new game where you try to make the dog poop to win!!!

You love to spend time with your family!

You love your friends and you are a good friend to have!!!

You love animals and it is absolutely adorable when you say, "awwww, isn't she cute" about any animal you might see!

You love Batman!

You wish you could have long hair so you could wear bows! :0)

You are handsome!!!

You are amazing my Logan and I am so proud to call you mine!!!
