Happy 7 months and 4 days little man!!!! Logan's first Haircut!

Things have been a little hectic the past few days.......I remembered Saturday was Logan's 7th month day, but forgot to address this on the blog......bad mommy. I remembered again and again and still forgot to post about it. Well, here it is!

Happy 7th months my little man! I LOVE YOU more each day! Your smile melts my heart and I LOVE your chubby stinky feet! You are absolutely wonderful!

We had some photos done yesterday at the house, so it was time for Logan's first haircut to get ready for the 'shoot'. His first haircut was compliments of Auntie JoJo.......we love ya!

A sneak peek..........Crafty...crafty.....Ella's new room

We decided to re-do Ella's room and sell her current "baby furniture" as she refers to it. We have ordered a really cute white bed, dresser, and desk. Since talented Auntie JoJo is visiting, she so kindly offered to help with some crafting for the new room. We were inspired by a couple of different things and I can't wait to see it all completed. Here is a sneak peek!

Happy Mommy's Day!

I always knew it would be great to be a mom.......but not THIS great! I LOVE my kids!!! Love them! Love them! Love them! There is nothing better than Ella's sweet little voice telling me she loves me and that I am her "bestest friend". I wouldn't trade Loag's slobbery kisses and big grin for the world! They make me smile each and every day. I have two very special kids that make me proud that I am their "mommy"

Whew!!!! 104 degrees already, but not too bad since everyone was happy to get into the pool

It was Auntie JoJo's 29th Birthday today!!!

The day started with some yummy apple struedel pancakes and bacon.....then, off to some spectacular pampering.....A super dooper fantasically wonderful pedicure!

After a little shopping, we headed home for a little relaxing.

We headed off to AH-SO for a great dinner! Even a little surprise carrot cake that we brought along to celebrate the occasion!

Yipeeee! Auntie Jojo and Uncle Curtis have arrived!!! They have been kept very busy by Ella..... Ella has eagerly awakened them for the past 2 mornings with a "cock-a-doodle-doo" and not a quiet one! We are happy to have them here with us!

Curtis is NOT a fan of bugs and was not very happy to see the "dead" scorpion that I had gotten out of the pool and saved for his viewing

Just a couple funny little stories about Ella........

Paul called me up at work the other day, laughing. He had to tell me the joke that Ella had come up with.......
"WHY DO DOGGIES GO PANT....PANT.....PANT?"
"because they FORGOT the words!"

Yesterday, after a little convincing, Ella agreed to go to the grocery store with me. It was a fun trip....She cracks me up. She sat in the cart and did some coloring as we made our way around the store. On the way home, she had some funny info for me.....
Ella: "Mommy, I'm SO Excited for Mother's day!"
Me: "you are? why is that?"
Ella: "because you wanna know what I am going to get you?"
Me: "of course"
Ella: " I am going to make you a kitty cat with a pink nose from Build-a-Bear DOT COM"
Me: (laughing) "Thanks Ella. Mommy will love it"

We had been to the mall the other day and they did have some new cute stuffed animals at Build-a bear including a cute kitty with a pink nose. They were dressed in mother's day sashes BUT the funny part was the DOT COM. Where does she come up with this stuff? She is ALWAYS listening to everything!
