Preschool Ice Cream Social

This is officially the week that Ella starts preschool. I can't believe how fast this summer has gone and I can't believe that she is old enough to be going to school. Where did my baby go? She is super duper excited about going which makes it easier for me to handle. Hopefully no mommy tears on Thursday when I actually 'leave her' at the school........
dressed and ready....had to wear a 'spinning dress' today

Pizanya and More

So this morning, Ella told me that she wanted something to eat......couldn't quite understand what she was talking about and then we got it translated to 'pizanya'......(lasagna from those of you that don't speak ellanese). Daddy picked some up at the grocery store on the way home to take care of the pizanya craving!

This crown was Ella's prize for winning a letter game on the "Super Why" website. We printed it off the computer and she was quite proud. They have some great games to learn the letters and the sounds the letter make.

Logan ate some baby food pizanya for dinner. He thought is was a good opportunity for a facial. Here he is playing with his favorite toy.....the lid from his lil' crunchies container

Happy 10 Months to my Busy Boy!

10 months.......10 months.........already????
For 10 months I have had the pleasure of having the sweetest little boy be part of my life..... and the best part of all, I am lucky enough to be his mommy.

Logan is a love bug.....his sweet slobbery kisses melt my heart. Logan is such a happy little boy that everyone often jokes about how they 'wish' he would smile.......he is constantly smiling. His piercing blue eyes can give the sweetest looks when you cuddle him close. He is a bruiser and goes 4 wheeling over anything that gets in his way when he is crawling. Logan loves to smile at new people and then quickly hide his face in mommy or daddy's shirt and then peek back at them. He LOVES to eat and isn't afraid to make a really big mess doing so! His favorite thing is the Gerber 'lil crunchies'. He has become a master of peek-a-boo. His belly giggle is one of the cutest sounds I have ever heard. Logan is one lucky little boy to have a big sister that loves him as much as Ella does. She can't get enough of him and always makes sure he is happy and has what he needs. He is getting quite brave standing on his own......I can't believe that soon he will take his first steps. I hope that doesn't mean he will want less cuddles from his mommy!

Logan you are an amazing little boy and I love you SO very much! I thank God every day for giving me such wonderful kids!

Almost the Big Day!

Ella is super excited to start school! I know she will do great!

We had a new family orientation BBQ last night and Ella got to meet her teacher and even met one of the little girls in her class. The family that sat at our table with us was from England so Paul had alot to talk about with them.....small world. It was so nice that they had that for us! I am looking forward to Ella's first school experience being a great one.

I can't believe my baby girl will be 4 in just a few months! Time goes by too quickly!

A Very Fun B-day Party

Ella has been to a couple of b-day parties at 'Pump it Up' and has been to an open play day there and each time has gotten a little bit braver......but never doing any of it on her own, until this past Sunday that is. I played on the slide (have the elbow burn to show for it), played tag in the bouncy house, and went through the obstacle course climbing house with Ella, but then she was happy to go on her own. She loved it! She wants her b-day party to be there.
Happy Birthday to Dani and thanks for inviting us......we had a great time!
I came straight from work so that is why I am sportin' the scrubs!

A Not SO Great Morning

I have had storytime at the library on my schedule for a while. Last week we were a bit late so this week we were going to be on time. I got ready before Paul headed out to work. Logan was fed. Ella was eating strawberries and coloring while Logan played happily in the playpen and THEN our frequently clogging toilet decided to overflow and then start leaking from underneath. FABULOUS! So after cleaning up that disgusting-ness. I was wiping my sweat and heading upstairs to quickly get Logan (who missed his nap because I was cleaning up disgusting-ness) dressed so we could head out...... I came back downstairs to find Ella who had an 'accident' while I was upstairs. She was so focused on t.v. that she pottied in her undies......and all over her shoes since she was already dressed to leave. This was her 3rd accident in 2 days and she NEVER has accidents so mommy wasn't very happy. We were all in tears at this point as I soaked up the carpet. Ella then proceeded to tell me that I had hurt her feelings which made me feel horrible. We had a big group hug, regrouped, and decided to hurry up and make it to storytime. Ella got a big apology from mommy for not talking 'nice' to her and she asked if we could shake hands and be friends again......She is so sweet and her little heart gets 'hurt' from the smallest thing. Lets hope these accidents are over and since it is after noon, let's hope this day gets a little easier!
