All dressed up...

Saturday afternoon, we joined some friends at Church for an early Easter service...
Ella and Logan looked adorable in their new Easter outfits...
The kids enjoyed their classes and we stayed after to eat dinner with our friends...
Logan sure LOVES his daddy! The kids playing!Pure sweetness....love these two.
They have been in school together for 3 years and Ella told me, "mommy, it doesn't matter if someone doesn't want to play with me at school or if I am sad, I always have Nolan and he always has me to make it a good day"Two 'fancy' girls! This was Logan's first time hula-hooping and he was AWESOME! I couldn't stop laughing because he was so tiny and he did great....Best of friends....One last photo before heading home...Ella and her new Easter bunny, Cotton Candy (thanks Suz, Pat, and Jack)And before heading up to the bath, carrots were put out for the Easter Bunny...

Egg Hunt...

Saturday morning we headed to the park for our neighborhood Easter egg hunt...
The kids were super excited!
They always love to see the bunny...Hugs and smiles for E.B.Logan loved the bouncy houses, slides, and loved wearing his bunny earsTwo cuties!Ready for the hunt...Waiting patiently with daddy...Me and my kiddos....Getting his eggs...Ella's turn...And then it was time for arm or face painting....
Logan got a 'super carrot'!!!Ella got a really cute Easter bunny....
and on the other cheek, carrots :0)Fun times in the neighborhood!

Eggs...

The kiddos couldn't wait to color eggs....
Instead of boiling, I baked them (thanks Jen for the great idea)
After dinner on Friday, the kids were ready to color!!!!

One excited little egg colorer....She took her work 'very seriously'They wished there were a million eggs to color...

Ella's turn

Today was Ella's turn at the dentist...
She was all smiles...
Logan cheered her on!Her teeth were nice and sparkly clean and looked great .....until the dentist took a look at another xray and saw that she is missing some permanent teeth...ugh!!!! Always something to worry about...hoping somehow they magically appear. Also, we learned that her mouth is that of a 4yr old, meaning that her 6 yr old molars have a long way to go before they surface and none of her teeth are close to becoming loose and falling out....The orthodontist actually walked over to look at her x-ray and it was actually MY orthodontist from a million years ago.....for now, we wait and watch and start saving $$$$$$$

The Spring Cupcakes...

The soccer season was split this year so Ella just started up a couple of weeks ago.
Many familiar faces on the team this season...the girls were excited to get started
Once again, the other teams tower over the Cupcakes but these girls are tough...
Ella told her team at halftime during their first game...."The other team may be bigger than us, but the soccer ball is always the same size"
Look at my little #6 is comparison to her opponents.....she battles tough!Whew.....
I wish this action shot wasn't blurry...I still can't get over the size of the other teamGo Cupcakes!

Uncle Tom and Aunt Bernice visit

We were lucky enough to have my aunt and uncle visit a couple of weeks ago...
It has been a while since they have been in AZ and my cousin is here working for a while so they came to see him and the bonus was seeing all of us :0)
Saturday BBQ at our house...the weather was perfect

The following day, we headed to my sister's house for a BBQ...
My mom and aunt Bernice playing checkers with the kiddos...Uncle Tom with my 2 cutiesThe fellas trying out Pat's home brew...The kids always love spending time running around with SammieShe even posed for this pic with them...Hopefully we can get back to Missouri sometime next year for a visit :0)
We loved spending time with my aunt and uncle

Cookies by Logan....

This is one crazy little boy that I have!
He is hilarious! (as you can tell by the piggytail photo that he let me take)
During spring break, Ella was sick so we tried to spend the days doing 'something fun' when she felt better....One day, we made cookies....
It was going well until crazy Logan made his 'speciality' cookie....

mixing the dough....
Logan's special cookie (don't mind how horribly gross my cookie sheet looks in this photo)
A Poopie CookieIt puffed up in the oven and looked even more 'real'All baked and cooling...Quite happy with his creation....
