Trick or Treat 2009

To say we have lots of candy is quite the understatement......
We have loads and loads of candy......
Friday night we loaded up and headed to Trunk or Treat at Ella's preschool.
We played games for a bit.....then watched "A Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" on a projector screen in the courtyard.
And before we went to the parking lot for the main event, Ella and Logan won a pizza giftcard for the cutest 'family' costume.
The trunks were decorated super cute and after about 25 minutes of getting candy......we headed to the car to warm up and head for home!
On the way to the parking lot.......
Ella was super excited for the real event......
She was up early on Halloween morning and decided to dress up a little for her soccer game...
She wore her leopard ears and I drew on her nose and whiskers. It was the 1st time she wasn't scared of the other team because "mommy, leopards don't get scared." Guess we might be dressing up every week!
After soccer and lunch, the kids took a nap and I headed to the kitchen. I made pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, candy corn popcorn balls, and turkey chili.
The food was yummy, the costumes came out, and out we went......
It was a great night.
Cousin Jack and Uncle Pat and Aunt Suz joined us to celebrate!
Lots of food, fun, and CANDY!!!!!!

Little Bo Peep and her sheep were a BIG HIT!!! I got asked many times if I made the costumes...No way to that!!! Ella suggested next year she could be Little Red Riding Hood and Logan could be the wolf....love it! Let's hope they both go for that idea in 11 months!
