Disneyland Day 1

Just a bit behind........one week to be exact, but better late than never!
Well, we woke up EARLY! Yes, we thought it was early entry. NOPE!
We weren't the only ones, but as you can see, we were the very 1st in line and ready for entry!

First stop.......Dumbo
First in line!
Logan LOVED this ride and so did Ella!

Next the tea cups........All Ella would say is "SPIN FASTER!"
We had to take turns taking her on since we all felt ill!
Daddy rode with his mommy.....
Alice in Wonderland was next and Ella did NOT like it!
We learned that she does not like any ride that is inside, but is a trooper on the giant ferris wheel and roller coaster!
Giddy-up
It was nice having short lines first thing in the morning and we took full advantage of it!
Choo choo.....all aboard the circus train!
Logan took a 3 hour nap the first day......Ella took this time to enjoy her cotton candy without a little hand trying to grab some from next door!
Ella was super excited to see the characters this time and wasn't scared a bit!
Unfortunately, Logan was still napping
Nannie and Muntz thought Disneyland was quite 'romantic'.......
The new Princess and the Frog Riverboat show was FABULOUS!

And after, Jasmine and Aladdin were waiting for visits
They talked with Ella for a bit and she LOVED it!
The Christmas decorations at Disneyland were beautiful! We headed over to California Adventure and found Jessie
And Ella couldn't wait to ride Mickey's Fun Wheel! I can't believe she wasn't scared at all! It was a huge ferris wheel......(Logan was still asleep)
We had perfect timing to catch the Playhouse Disney show.
Ella and Logan both enjoyed it!
They both were dancing and clapping the whole time.....too cute!
The last time we were at Disneyland we had done the Princess Dinner and absolutely LOVED it so we had booked it again......I do NOT recommend this. The prices had gone up tremendously and they RUSH you through it. We were done with our 3 course meal and pushed out the door in an HOUR! The food was okay, but not worth it one bit!
Ella enjoyed seeing the princesses but they rushed by and really only posed for a quick photo and a quick signature in the autograph book. None of them actually took the time to talk to Ella at all :0(
I would have liked to have Logan's photo with each one as well , but the princesses were petrified that he might touch their dress with his grubbie little hand so they stayed away.....
That's okay....our little prince is worthy of a real princess!

So much for going back to the hotel for a midday rest......we spent over 12 hours at Disneyland on day 1.......well worth it!
We actually made it back to Disneyland after our meal to see the snow fall on the castle.....
magnificent!

It was quite the sight to see!
Beautiful!
Oh so tired!
We headed back to the hotel to get ready for the 'real' early entry the next day.....
yep, sleep is overrated when you are at Disneyland!
